Structural Damage
Why use a P.E.
Of great importance is to have a home inspected for Structural Damage.  In its worst form, this type of damage can be expensive to repair and could require major renovation to the house structure; floors, walls, and ceilings.  Some causes of structural damage are due to improper renovations, inadequate design of structural members, water infiltration, termite or carpenter ant infestations, or foundation settlement.  Our experienced Engineer is trained to detect these types of problems.

The area above this steel column is severely water damaged.  Portions of the original beam are missing, and some of the adjacent joists are loose. The bricks on this chimney are loose in several areas, including farther up near the crown of the chimney.
